Lisa Williams is also known in property circles as Lisa Orme. Very much one and the same person Orme was Lisa’s maiden name and as she is widely known by this name in social media circles she mostly uses this one. However for regulatory purposes she has to use her official married name so you will find her on the FCA Register under this name and it’s also the name that appears on her emails and business cards. Sorry for the confusion!
Lisa is a former forensic scientist having worked for the Forensic Science Service for 15 years and latterly is an experienced property investor and developer with her own portfolio of properties in the Midlands. Following a suggestion that she would make a good mortgage broker by one of her builders, and looking for a new challenge, Lisa decided to give it a go and has fallen in love with the industry!
Setting up Keys Mortgages in 2009 she used her forensic and research skills to learn all she could about this vast topic and quickly became established as a leading authority on property finance. At a time when HMOs were becoming more widespread and investors and lenders were getting used to this increasingly popular investment choice Lisa decided to learn all she could about them and has gone on to assist lenders with creating their HMO products, lending and valuation policies. Lisa mostly advises on complex residential cases, portfolios, HMOs, commercial, bridging and development finance.
Lisa is CeMAP qualified and is a Member of the Institute of Financial Services (MIFS) and as a landlord is also a member of the National Landlords Association (NLA), the Residential Landlords Association (RLA) and the Guild of Residential Landlords.
In her spare time Lisa loves to travel; anything from day trips to long holidays overseas. She’s also obsessed with ticking things off her very long bucket list!
Stuart is Lisa’s husband and co-Director of Keys.
Stuart manages their portfolio of properties and as a landlord is also a member of the National Landlords Association (NLA), the Residential Landlords Association (RLA) and the Guild of Residential Landlords.
Stuart also manages their other business; Letterblox. Stuart is the one behind the invention of this innovative patented security product – you can read more about Letterblox here
Stuart loves to travel too and in particular loves train journeys; he and Lisa are usually heading off on a train somewhere or other every few weeks.
Stuart also loves to watch the Grand Prix and to play golf – in the summer!
Complex Case Manager
Cheryl is Lisa and Stuart’s niece, has been with the business nearly four years and is CeMAP qualified.
Cheryl wears multiple hats and keeps the place going; looking after all aspects of the business including accounting and administrative responsibilities; the business would be lost without her!
Cheryl’s main role, however, is Case Manager for Complex Cases.
Cheryl has an amazing grip of the finance and property industry and lender criteria requirements for one so young.
Having also studied Chinese at A Level, notoriously one of the hardest languages to learn, there is absolutely no doubt she will go very far indeed.
In her spare time Cheryl is a live concert devotee and barely a week goes by when she’s not off to see a band somewhere!
Business Development and Compliance Manager
Amy recently joined Keys after Lisa spotted her outstanding approach to customer service and told her to get in touch if she wanted to get into finance; so she did!
Amy has worked in an estate agents, was senior meetings and events coordinator at the highly regarded Belfry Golf and Country Club and latterly an ILEX qualified paralegal. A varied career but perfectly suited to this business!
Amy is passionate about customer service and is assisting with developing the business and creating even better systems and procedures to benefit our clients and ensuring we also remain compliant.
Amy is also training to be a mortgage adviser having just passed her CeMAP qualifications and as such is managing a number of Lisa’s client’s cases as well as taking on her own.
In her spare time Amy loves to keep fit and takes part in mud runs and army fitness boot camps. Don’t let that demure Audrey Hepburn look fool you; not one to be messed with is our Amy!
